Work with Me 1:1
Let’s get you feeling like you again — even if right now that feels impossible.
Hi, I am Anna Bajus, clinical and counselling psychologist based in UK (London and Edinburgh).

Through a combination of Psychodynamic, CBT, and third-wave techniques, I tailor therapy to meet your specific needs, providing a range of tools to support your growth and healing.
In addition to my clinical work, I am actively involved in research and professional development. I collaborate with non-profit organisations such as “Otwarte Szafy” (Open Closets), where I was leading a team of psychologists working to support LGBT and individuals experiencing family rejection.
I am also passionate about perinatal mental health and for more than a year I was a volunteer with Juno PMHS Edinburgh to provide support to mothers during the challenging transition to parenthood. As a parent myself, I understand the importance of providing a safe and supportive environment for mothers and fathers. I am committed to breaking down stigma surrounding mental health and providing compassionate care to those struggling with anxiety, depression, body image issues and trauma.
In addition to my clinical and volunteer work, I am a published author, contributing articles to leading psychological magazines in Poland such as “Characters” and “Psychology in Practice.” My articles focus on evidence-based therapeutic tools and innovative approaches to treating mental health disorders, reflecting my commitment to advancing the field of psychology.
I am dedicated to helping you regain your inner resilience and guiding you through your emotional pain. I use evidence-based techniques, ensure that therapy is both effective and supportive, helping you to make lasting positive changes in your life.
If you’re here, you’re probably exhausted. Maybe from trying to fix a relationship that’s been slowly breaking you. Or maybe from holding it all together while no one sees how much you’re carrying.
Here’s the good news: you don’t have to spend years unpacking every painful memory to start feeling better.
You don’t have to explain your trauma in perfect detail to heal from it.
And you don’t have to do it alone.
What Our Sessions Can Help With
I work with women who are ready to heal from:
- Childhood trauma or neglect
- PTSD or complex trauma (C-PTSD)
- Toxic relationships (including emotional abuse, narcissistic partners, betrayal, or micro-cheating)
-
Burnout, anxiety, and depression — often linked to long-term emotional stress
If you’re struggling with patterns that keep repeating — in relationships, in how you show up, in how you feel about yourself — we can work together to gently shift those from the inside out.
️ How I Work
This isn’t just talk therapy. I use trauma-informed, nervous system-based approaches that go deeper:
-
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to process trauma without having to retell it
-
EFT/tapping and somatic techniques to regulate your body and emotions
-
CBT and parts work to change the thoughts and inner narratives keeping you stuck
-
Mindfulness and self-compassion tools you can actually use in real life (even in the middle of a spiral)
Most clients feel relief within the first few sessions. Many say, “I’ve done therapy before — but this is the first time I feel like I’m actually healing.”
Is This Right for You?
If you’re thinking:
“I’ve been through so much, but I’m still functioning — does this even count as trauma?”
Or:
“I don’t want to open the floodgates and fall apart.”
…then you’re exactly the kind of person I help.
I meet you where you are. We go at your pace. And we focus on feeling better, not just talking about pain.
